During cooking, baking and frying , Salt looses about 50% of it's mineral content.



Amount of Iodine in food:

Flounder - 100 mg
Caviar - 130 mg
Sardines - 99 mg
White Wine - 70 mg
Red Wine - 50 mg
Smoked Mackerel - 40 mg
White Cheese - 50 mg


Absorption of Iodine is inhibited by consumption of cauliflower, cabbage, brussel sprouts and soya.
